The National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) Southeast Conference and DNA Energy Drink join together to help Haitian orphans at three "Surf For Haiti" events.
Events:
- Feb 25 at Juno Beach Pier in Juno
- Jan 30 at Ponce de Leon Landing in Melbourne Beach
- Feb 21-22 at Pelican Park in Satellite Beach
Donations of clothing will be accepted all day during the contest.
Through channels headed up by NSSA member Emily Rupert, 16, and her mother Nancy, once the donations are sorted and boxed up, they will be sent directly to the orphanage located north of Port-au-Prince. Darren Marks, CEO of DNA Energy Drink, will be handling the logistics once the donations are ready to go.
Contact DNA at dnaenergydrink.com or the NSSA Southeast Director at nssasoutheast@yahoo.com to schedule donation drop-offs.
